NET SET GO

Our Net Set GO  and Rookies programs are aimed to be  fun, safe, social and active  for girls and boys from Prep to Grade 3. It gives children of all abilities a positive introduction to netball and teaches them the basic skills of the sport.  These programs commence the first Friday of Term 2 and run for approximately 12 weeks.

Net Set GO

This program is targeted for Prep and Grade 1 girls and boys. It teaches fundamental motor skills through activities and games using modified equipment like bean bags, hula hoops and softer balls.

Rookies

​

This program is targeted for Grade 2 and 3 girls and boys. It focuses on developing netball specific skills through modified match play.

• Coaches are allowed on the court to assist in developing netball skills.

• Although the games are scored, this is not the primary goals of this program.

• A skill session conducted first followed by 4 quarters of modified matches.
